The Manchester Province

The Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary is found in eighteen countries. In the United States there are two Provinces known as the Manchester and Methuen Provinces. The Manchester Province was established in 1948 with the Provincial Administration located in Hudson, NH. |

Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson NH was built in 1926 as a boarding school for girls in elementary and high school. In 1933, Rivier College received its first students here. Eight years later the College moved to its present location in Nashua NH. PMA also housed the Provincial Administration from 1938 to 1959 and the Novitiate from1940 to 1969. |
| Presentation of Mary Academy
houses a school of more than 500 boys and girls from grades K - 8. A
portion of the building serves as a Convent for Sisters of the Presentation of
Mary.

In 1959 the Provincial Administration moved to its present location in Manchester NH. This site also serves as a Retirement Home as well as a licensed Nursing Home for the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. The Methuen Province, also established in 1948, is located Methuen , MA. |
